Compare this to screenshot from the previous post and you should see a number of improvements, some more subtle than others.
For starters, I got rid of that grey temporary background I whipped up in photoshop to prevent the background from being a flat color.
The Specialist is now in-game! You can see him targeting Robo with a Railgun.
Also, holograms are now animated. Although you can't tell, in the previous build they were simple Tiles, but I've since gone in and added a layer of programming polish to make them more alive, especially when they're damaged.

I'm sure I'll get into the swing of things as far as writing Dev-logs is concerned, it's not as if I haven't written them before, but I value any and all feedback I can get!
Want me to get into the nitty-gritty code used to make all this happen?

Orbit 1.1.1 on Android
Orbit on Android:
It's been a long time coming, but Orbit is now available on Android! In truth, it has been for a few weeks, but without Google Play Services, due to a bug in GameMaker Studio. Well, that's been fixed with the release of Orbit v1.0.1 on Android! If you're new to Orbit, check out the debut trailer to see what makes it Tower Defense Redefined:

Orbit 1.1.0
Better late than never
We wanted to include the tutorial with the initial release, but with RTX looming closer every day, we wanted to make sure a version product went live in time for the show. This is why the tutorial is releasing now. The release of 1.1.0 also includes the features of 1.0.1, which was skipped in favour of getting 1.1.0 up faster.Thursday, June 27, 2013
BGP at RTX 2013
To RTX!:
I've been a long time fan of Rooster Teeth, ever since I saw Real Life vs Internet. This will be the first convention I've ever exhibited at, and I'm admittedly a bit nervous, but I think it's important to get out there and see first hand what people think of my games, and whether or not I stand a chance at making a living designing games. What can I expect to see?
At RTX, you'll get a chance to meet myself and Ari Lotter, the creators of "BGP Orbit". The game will be playable at our booth, as well as some of my other products.PLUS I am very excited to announce a competition for RTX attendees that we'll be running in partnership with YoYo Games to win a copy of GameMaker Studio (the program used to make Orbit, and in fact all of my games). Details to enter will be posted on my website, and available on the show floor. Attendees will have a chance to win 1 of 3 copies of GameMaker Studio: Professional Edition with the HTML5 module ($199 Value). This will allow you to export games to Windows, Mac and HTML5 so you can make games like these.
RTX 2013 is just one week away, if you're attending, stop by the Bluish-Green Productions Booth: #629!
